From historic residences to iconic buildings, we'll journey through the Walkerville neighborhood's rich history en route to the majestic Willistead Manor. Delve into the craftsmanship and significance of Kahn's designs throughout Walkerville. This wonderful tour will culminate in a special ceremony celebrating the Strathcona Building, where the first-ever historic Albert Kahn plaque will be unveiled! The Albert Kahn Legacy Foundation's plaque program was launched earlier this year. The plaque program offers verified Albert Kahn-designed building owners a lifetime membership and a historic bronze plaque. The Strathcona Building is the first building to install the historic bronze plaque honoring the legacy of Albert Kahn.
